802.11abgn MAC and Baseband Processor
The BEAM450 IP product is Redpine Signals' IEEE 802.11n Baseband and MAC processor with three-stream MIMO capability for Access Point as well as Client applications. The silicon core is ideal for integration into high-end media processors and network processors. The core supports mandatory and optional features of the IEEE 802.11n standard and the Wi-Fi 802.11n certification requirements (including all optional features). Along with an AFE and RF transceiver, the BEAM450 product paves the way for a cost-effective, high-performance integrated 802.11n solution.
