802.11abgn MAC and Baseband Processor
The BEAM150T IP product is Redpine Signals' silicon-proven IEEE 802.11n Baseband and MAC processor operating in a single-stream mode for low-cost standalone or embedded client or access point applications. This single-stream core is ideal for integration into mobile phone application processors and into next generation micro-controllers. It supports mandatory and optional features of the IEEE 802.11n standard and the Wi-Fi 802.11n certification requirements (including all optional features). Along with an AFE and RF transceiver, the BEAM150 core paves the way for a cost-effective, high-performance integrated 802.11n solution.
